Terms & Conditions

 

  1. All Party Kit equipment is owned by and remains the property of Little Peeps Party Kits (the “Owner”).
  2. The hire period of a Party Kit is 3 days (72 hours) from the agreed date and time of collection. Failure to return the Party Kit within this timeframe will result in 50% of the refundable bond being withheld.
  3. Prior to Party Kit use, collection date and time from either South Hobart or Hobart City is arranged with the Owner.
  4. Post Party Kit use, the kit can be returned by the Hirer or collected by the Owner by mutual agreement for an additional fee.
  5. Booking is secured by payment in full of the Party Kit hire fee. Payment of a refundable bond (of the same amount of the Party Kit hire) is required at least 7 days before the date of the booking.
  6. The Hirer may cancel the booking at any time prior to the start date of their hire period, upon which the hire fee (and bond if already paid) will be fully refunded. 
  7. You will be eligible for a full refund of the bond when the Party Kit has been returned on time, complete and undamaged as verified by the owner within 24 hours of return.
  8. The Hirer is responsible for the Party Kit equipment for the duration of the hire period and adequate care should be taken.
  9. The Hirer is responsible for any breakages, non-repairable damage or loss of Party Kit equipment. Replacements will be charged at the purchase price of the new equipment item(s).
  10. No credit or refund will be issued for any Party Kit equipment which is returned unused.
  11. In the unlikely event that the Owner is unable to fulfil your booking due to circumstances beyond their control the Owner’s liability is limited to the refund of all monies paid.
  12. No responsibility can be accepted for injury which occurs during the use of the Party Kit equipment. (Please note that Pass-the-Parcel Bags and treasure hunt items have small parts (eg: buttons/pegs) that could be a choking hazard. As such should not be used by children (especially aged 0-3 years).
  13. Command hooks/strips and masking tape are included in the kit as options for hanging the decorations. Use of these is at the Hirer's risk. The owner is not liable for any damage to paintwork caused by use of these.
  14. Party Kit cups and plates must be washed prior to being returned. They are then washed again in a separate sink dedicated for the party equipment only, albeit in a domestic kitchen where allergens may be present.
  15. Your name, address and contact details will be stored on an electronic storage and retrieval system which has been created for the exclusive use of the Owner for keeping in contact with you about your booking. This data will not be used by any third party without prior consent.
  16. You have the right to request the removal of all personal data from the Owner’s systems at any time.
